Big Games Delayed To 2013
Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite, and South Park: The Stick of Truth have all been delayed by their publishers to 2013. All three of these high-profile titles were planned for release this fall but have now been moved out of the busy holiday season so that the developers can make them the best games they can be.
But I’m not worried, with the likes of New Super Mario Bros 2, Far Cry 3, Borderlands 2, DOA5, RE6, Dishonored, MOH: Warfighter, Assassin’s Creed III, Halo 4, Black Ops 2, Hitman Absolution, Pokemon Black 2 and White 2, The Last of Us, and the WiiU (that means Pikmin 3!!), all being released this fall (not to mention all the release date announcements at E3). So many games, so little time; a dilemma I will not lament!

Assassin’s Creed III Gameplay Trailer
Within the last two months we’ve been bombarded with an onslaught of Assassin’s Creed III rumors that turned to facts, leaked screenshots that both showed off a beautiful 18th century North American snowy landscape, possible cover art, and we even got a couple trailers thrown into the mix. But Ubisoft isn’t taking their foot off the media pedal.
Above you’ll see the latest gameplay trailer. I have to admit although only owning AC 1 & 2 and really only spending quality time with AC 1, I’ve enjoyed the uniqueness that Ubisoft brought to the stealth assassin genre. And with each AC release, the mechanics, graphics, and gameplay are always improved upon. This is no different for AC3. Ok, now you may wipe the drool from your face.

SSX DLC To Shred Onto PSN & Xbox Live May 1st
SSX was released in North America on February 28th, and I have been playing it ever since. The game is so much fun. They never took away from the original SSX feel while incorporating some new styles of play. It’s just damn fun, and so much competition, and upgrades to keep you busy for a long time.
But if you think you’ve topped all your friends scores, diamonded all the global events, and got gold on every deadly descent in explore mode then you probably think you’re done. Good news, you’re not.
EA is releasing it’s first set of DLC for SSX on May 1st for both the PS3 and Xbox 360. There will be two sets of DLC that you can purchase separately for $5.99 or you may buy the bundle for $7.99. One DLC will be a charater pack featuring 7 classic riders from SSX 3 and Tricky, who will be accompanied each with their own snowboard. The other DLC (which is what I’m looking forward to most) is the Mt. Eddie pack which features a brand new mountain inspired by famed SSX trickster Eddie Wachowski along with three classic music packs.
Mt. Eddie is expected to be very long, contain multiple huge air setups, crazy grinds, a Big Air drop, and just to spice things up just a bit more… fireworks! You will see some of this in the trailer above. I can only imagine at how insane this level is by the teaser trailer and that the amount on the “gold” score is 73 million. Which is ridiculously high.
The only thing that they are missing is real time multiplayer. I hope they patch that one day. The ridernet radio (released on last patch) is a good start in the right direction, so maybe we will see something later on regarding multiplayer. But for the time being I will be picking up the bundle for $7.99 and enjoying a little new powder for my old and new riders alike.

Not So Text Adventure Anymore
Remember the days of yore, when games were played via text? Text that was story driven, and you had to use your imagination to see the world you were in?
Well, a new twist has been made of those classic text adventures through ThatsMrRobertson’s YouTube channel. Similar to yesterdays interactive Mass Effect 3 fan film, this text adventure plays through multiple situations, and endings.
Check it out. Let us know if you reached the end and what your fate was!
Resident Evil 6 Trailer
Chris and Leon are back and taking on another war on the virus. They are shown here in the new Resident Evil 6 trailer. There is a mix of cut scenes, and what appears to be gameplay. Still to be determined if that is ACTUAL gameplay or just computer animation to resemble actual gameplay.
I have to say, I’m really psyched after watching this. The RE series never dissapoints, and I’m glad to see them return to a dark and gloomy urban environment.
According to the end of the trailer, the expected release date is set at 11-20-2012. Leaving you 4 weeks and 2 days to finish the game before the Mayan calendar comes to an end.
Do you have what it takes to save a virtual humanity before the real humanity goes kaput?
